Erra and Yusry getting engaged tomorrow

IT is official! Artistes Erra Fazira and Yusry Abdul Halim are getting engaged tomorrow.

Confirming this, Yusry told Sunday Mail that the ceremony will be held at Erra's family home in Damansara, Kuala Lumpur. For reasons untold, the couple has chosen the number three to mark the auspicious occasion. At 3pm on 03.03.03, a 33-member entourage from Yusry's side, bearing a hantaran of RM33,333.33 for the bride-to-be will witness the engagement. Last Friday, Yusry's elder brother, Norman told The Malay Mail that the engagement had been planned as early as November last year but it was up to the couple to make the announcement.

Yusry admitted to being a little miffed by the rumours that have been going on about their relationship. "It is a bit upsetting when others seem to know more than I do about my private life. It did put pressure to me." The KRU singer/rapper-cum-actor said his announcement will now start another round of speculations on the wedding date.

Yusry, 30, and Erra, 28, had just returned from Christchurch, New Zealand, after a 10-day shoot of Mrs Cinderella in which they both star. The movie is a sequel to last year's blockbuster, Mr Cinderella.

They are expected to begin shooting on their next movie together, their third, Cinta Kolestrol in mid March.

Cinta Kolestrol is a joint-venture between Metrowealth Movies Production, KRU Motion Pictures and Erra Entertainment. After this, Erra, who was 1992 Miss Malaysia, will be busy with her new album and the promotion of her latest movie, Janji Diana.
